DakotaCon is an information security conference held on Dakota State University’s campus. The conference starts with talks on Friday from industry pros, and continues with the Dakota Conquest competition on Saturday.

Online registration will close at 12:00pm CST on March 27, so sign up today! A limited number of late registrations will be accepted on-site at DakotaCon, but we cannot guarantee a spot in the competition.
Signup Information
Dakota Conquest at DakotaCon will be open to ALL attendees, and there is no limit on the number of teams from any institution or employer. Build your team of up to 4 or sign up as an individual and we will pair you with a team.
At the event there are a variety of physical systems that competitors hack and defend. This years spotlight features a train that competitors can take control of and make stops at different places along the track. Along with the train physical infrastructure there will be a NFC function control shipping, railroad crossing guards and more!
Note: Competitors are encouraged to use supplied devices during the competition. There will be Kali machines at the ready for competitors to attack in-scope competition systems. Please see the competition rules for more details.
